A Different Lens: Film screenings that explore the varied lives, stories and artistic expression of disabled people

The headliner for the evening is Heavy Load. The documentary follows the punk band of the film’s title as they smash barriers through their infectious rock music. The work also charts the beginnings of Stay Up Late, a charity which ensures that people with learning disabilities can enjoy evenings out, just like everyone else.
Stay Up Late’s co-founder, and Heavy Load bassist, Paul Richards will be joining alongside the film’s Director Jerry Rothwell.
Doors open at 18:30. Film starts at 19:00
