Easy Read Wales is Learning Disability Wales’ accessible information service. We produce high quality Easy Read translation and design in English and Welsh for a wide variety of clients, including disabled people’s organisations, charities, the public sector, and Welsh Government.
We have 14 years’ experience of producing and delivering high standard accessible information and training:
- We offer basic and advanced Easy Read training.
- We have published ‘Clear and Easy’ guidelines for producing Easy Read, and guidelines for producing Welsh Easy Read.
- We have created an accessible toolkit, ‘Check It!’, that enables people with a learning disability to check the quality of accessible documents.
- We have developed Easy Read websites, including Easy Read Health Wales.
