How social care providers can support the health needs of people with learning disabilities

The Public Health England Learning Disabilities Observatory (IHaL) is running two free events aimed at family members and professionals who provide care and support for people with learning disabilities. These events will include information about the Health Charter for Social Care Providers. There will be practical guidance on how social care providers and staff can have an important role in helping people access good healthcare and lead a healthy lifestyle.
