Does anyone know of any ‘BASES’ as outlined in Raising Our Sights? I have heard of Day Centres redefining as a ‘base’, but I am more interested in any Drop-In style centres that have opening in the last 10 years.
The idea was a base for people with PMLD to use when out in the community. Somewhere they could receive therapeutic services, access changing room loos, etc, but not necessarily only used by those with PMLD.
