Behaviour and emotional concerns workshops

More info and booking

Are you concerned about the emotional wellbeing, mental health or behaviour of someone with severe or profound intellectual disabilities? Or do you want to learn more about this area of care and support?

We are offering an opportunity to share your concerns within a supportive group, facilitated by Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist Dr Elspeth Bradley and Learning Disability Nurse Dr Julie Calveley. The sessions will allow for reflection, sharing and learning with and from others.

These sessions will enable you to:

– Develop a deeper understanding of what is happening and a plan of what you can do to make things better.

– Develop a sensitive, compassionate multi-perspective appreciation (formulation) about what might be happening and use this to develop an understanding of what can improve the situation.

Suitable for clinicians, practitioners, therapists, education, health care, social care and family members.

The cost of attending all three 1.5 hour Zoom sessions is £50 for professionals and £10 for family members.
