Cerebra is seeking a new Chair of Trustees

Cerebra (www.cerebra.org.uk) is seeking a new Chair of Trustees to lead their strategic direction, financial management and governance. You will be a skilled and experienced Chair, someone who knows how to get the best out of a Board and what you bring is personal credibility, an exceptional ability to communicate and manage relationships and the capacity to be an outstanding ambassador for the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for Cerebra’s Vision and Mission to play a leading role in the next phase of its development. With a collaborative and inclusive leadership style you are a strategic thinker and a proven collaborator, capable of facilitating debate to achieve good decision-making.

A career-profile of standing, reputation and influence … drawn from business, the professions or politics, is required, combined with the drive to sustain success. A credo of inclusion, collaboration and enablement coupled with the business disciplines of time, cost and money is crucial. An understanding of Boards and governance, the contrasting issues of values/value is critical. The retiring Chair, Professor David Rose, has successfully harnessed these synergies. Can you?

Please note, this is a voluntary role with an expected time commitment of one to two days per month and out of pocket expenses can be reimbursed. Location-wise, a successful candidate based along the M4 Corridor would be preferable.
