Greenwich CCG have published an animated Continuing Healthcare film to help people understand the national policy.
Having a good understanding of how the national policy operates in practice is important, as if people are eligible for NHS continuing healthcare, they do not pay anything towards the costs of their care. This can make an enormous difference to people in their day-to-day lives.
The film is the result of joint working between NHS Greenwich CCG and Enabled City, the two organisations decided to jointly develop a film that would help explain the National Framework in a simple, informative and entertaining way.
The films script has also been published with additional Word-Bank definitions to help explain difficult words and phrases in even greater detail.
