Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme and People with Learning Disabilities

Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme and People with Learning Disabilities

Can you help with our research survey?

Many adults with learning disabilities are the victims of serious and violent crimes. They often do not get justice either via the court system or through compensation.

Researchers at the Tizard Centre are looking for support staff and family carers of people with learning disabilities to complete our survey. Specialist workers like ISVAs are also invited to participate.

We are interested in what you know about the compensation scheme and whether you have any experience of using it, or supporting a person with learning disabilities to use it.

All responses are anonymous.

We would be grateful if you could forward this to your contacts and networks.

Thank you.
