Do you work in the UK as a support worker or carer with people with a learning disability? Were you or your parents born outside of the UK?

We are still recruiting carers and support workers for our research study.

We are hoping to find out more about the impact of culture on the experiences of carers and support workers working with people with a learning disability.

We are looking for people who:

  • are currently employed as a carer or support worker, working with people with a learning disability in the UK
  • have been employed for at least three months
  • identify as non-native to the UK e.g. you or your parents were born outside of the UK
  • are willing to take part in an online interview, for up to one hour

We would like to interview carers and support workers about their experiences of culture at work, and how it impacts their role and their work with service users. You would not be asked to share service user’s personal details.

You would be paid £15 for your time.

If you are interested in taking part, or would like to know more, please contact Emily Neale on en238@bath.ac.uk
