Down Syndrome Research Forum, September 2019, London – call for papers

This year’s Down Syndrome Research Forum is being held at UCL Institute of Education, London, UK on Monday/Tuesday 16th/17th September 2019 and hosted by Dr Jo Van Herwegen and the Child Development and Learning Difficulties lab in the department of Psychology and Human Development.

If you would like to present at this year’s Forum, please submit a 200 word abstract to research@dseinternational.org by June 30th 2019. The abstract should contain the title, names of all authors, contact details of first author, and summary of your presentation.

This guideline is informal as a range of different types of submission are accepted. The Committee will review abstracts and will publish the full programme by 19thof July 2019.

They welcome presentations of research work in progress as well as of completed work. They also welcome presentations from practitioners who may wish to share their experiences of using particular interventions or to share service models. Single case studies are welcome.

They are keen to continue to develop this Forum as a place where families, practitioners and researchers can share expertise and learn from each other. As such, they ask to focus on work that has a direct relevance to the lives of those with Down syndrome and their families as well as practitioners and professionals working with individuals with Down syndrome. They welcome individual submissions but would also welcome any suggestions for symposia if you wish to organise one.

If you are new to the Forum see details at https://www.down-syndrome.org/en-gb/research/forum/
