Facilitators and barriers to the uptake of vaccines for respiratory conditions

Kings College London is undertaking research as part of its work on the Learning from lives and deaths - People with learning disabilities and autistic people (LeDeR) programme.

They want to speak to family carers and paid carers to talk about the barriers and facilitators people can experience getting adult family members or people in your care vaccines for respiratory conditions (for example, Covid-19, Flu).

They are planning to hold semi-structured focus groups in April but can also arrange one-to-one sessions online if timings don’t work for you.

People who are part of the focus groups or one-to-one sessions will be paid with a voucher.

Hi Nicola, do you know if Kings College London hold any information that would help campaigners secure the Covid vaccine for people with learning disabilities. This year’s rules and next year’s rules will mean people with learning disabilities won’t be eligible.

Hi Donna
I added the post on Nicola’s behalf. You’ll need to email her direct at Nicola.ditzel@kcl.ac.uk
