I’m emailing to let you know about an exhibition and series of events we have planned to mark 100+ years of learning disability nursing. The small exhibition is free to attend during RCN Library and Heritage Centre opening hours (10am – 7pm weekdays, 10am – 5pm Saturdays), and an easy read version is available online and in the exhibition space.
We’ve got a lively accompanying programme of events, and have recently listed a series of three free arts workshops aimed at adults who identify as having a learning disability and/or autism. All three will take place at our central London HQ at 20 Cavendish Square (5 minutes’ walk from Oxford Street and Bond Street underground stations) and will respond to the themes of the exhibition:
