Free events for people with learning disabilities and family carers

The Learning Disabilities Observatory has been working on a new project. This is the Health and Care Project. We have asked questions about the care people get. The answers have come from GP note systems.

We have found out how well they get looked after for the illnesses they have got. We have looked at how this compares to the care that people without learning disabilities get.

We are running two events to tell people with learning disabilities what we have found out. We would like to hear what people think about what we have found out.
• One event is on Tuesday 26th April in Oxford.
• One event is on Thursday 28th April in Newcastle.

These events are for people with learning disabilities and their family carers.

If you would like to come to one of these free events you will need to book a place.

You can find out more details and download an application form or find out how to book online at http://www.improvinghealthandlives.org.uk/events/
