I wrote a few months ago to say that we have funding to support people affected by domestic abuse in Shared Lives arrangements. This funding has been extended until the end of January.
If anyone here, or anyone you know could benefit from a Shared Lives arrangement until the end of January, we would be very happy to look at supporting them.
Shared Lives is a model of care and accommodation where someone with a support need (and in this instance someone effected by domestic abuse) moves in with an approved Shared Lives carer and lives as part of their household. They receive care and support within the arrangement).
Please share this offer with your networks. We’re currently supporting disabled and non-disabled men and women and are able to offer more arrangements in England.
