Gig Buddies Cymru is celebrating launching in Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot by holding an accessible and inclusive gig this Friday 22 November at Elysium Gallery in Swansea. 7pm until 11pm
We’re thrilled to have double-Welsh Music Prize winner Adwaith - who have played Glastonbury and supported Manic Street Preachers and Idles - headlining our launch gig. Tickets are available here.
Tickets are £10 for the public and £5 for Gig Buddies, people with a learning disability and any organisations or people that would like to work with Gig Buddies in the area. Gig Buddies Cymru helps adults with a learning disability and autistic adults to go to gigs and other social activities by matching them with a volunteer Gig Buddy who loves the same things. We’re always looking for new volunteers across Wales. We are currently looking for people with a learning disability and/or autism in the Swansea Neath Port Talbot area who would like a Gig Buddy.
A ‘gig’ is whatever people want to do to socialise together - from concerts to sport matches, theatre, theme parks, horse riding, cafes, festivals, nightclubs, or just a nice walk in the park.

Small Miracles are a new wave band from Cardiff, fuelled by the desire to challenge the status quo and spread love and joy through their live performance.
Setondji Spirit is a Swansea based artist who plays a gorgeous mix of soul, roots, classical and folk music.
Guy Nicholas Challenger is an independent and prolific spirit on the Swansea music scene, writing heartfelt songs that explore love, life and loss. Guy is also a Gig Buddy volunteer.
