Yesterday the government produced a document called Care Act easement: guidance for local authorities. . Although it is written for local authorities it may help to answer other people’s queries about which bits of the Care Act still stand.
Two important points to note are that the Care Act duties to promote well-being remain in place and duties under the Equality Act (2010) still remain, including duties to make reasonable adjustments.
