This project examines how the needs of children and young people with Williams syndrome, Down syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are being addressed within the current educational context, especially since the introduction of the new Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Code of Practice in 2014. Comparing experiences across these neurodevelopmental disorders will help us understand better the needs of these children in terms of professional support and provision required light of the new SEND Code of Practice.

This project is funded by the Williams syndrome Foundation and will inform new parental and professional guidelines about writing effective EHC plans.
Thank you in advance for your valuable contribution!
