Heritage Project Coordinator

18 month fixed-term - 24 hours per week - £15,275 p.a.

Solihull Action through Advocacy (SAtA) is very pleased to be running an 18-month, peer-led project supported by National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund, to explore the history and heritage of people with learning disabilities in Solihull. The project aims to record the stories of people moving out of long-stay institutions into the community to ensure that they are preserved for the future.

This exciting role will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and delivery of the project including recruiting and managing the project volunteers, liaising with other project partners and stakeholders, organising events, promoting the project, ensuring that the project runs to its schedule and within budget and completing comprehensive project evaluation.

If you have experience in coordinating multi-stakeholder projects and have an interest in the history and stories of people with a learning disability and want to help make those stories better known then they want to hear from you.
