The Advocacy Project is searching for an exceptional Learning Disability Health Engagement Officer to develop a new User Engagement Service for people with a learning disability in Brent.
Our well regarded learning disability user involvement services are innovative and exciting “user led” projects for adults with learning disabilities and we are proud of the impact that these have.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated person to support people with learning disabilities to share their views and experiences to bring about positive change in:
• Reducing barriers to health care
• Improving access to, and experience of health care
• Increasing knowledge of health care to enable more self-managing
• Increasing awareness for Brent health professionals and commissioners
