We want Wales to be the best country in the world for people with a learning disability to live, learn and work. We are looking for someone passionate about campaigning for the rights of people with a learning disability and making sure people’s voices are heard to help us influence change and make a positive difference to people’s lives.
Hours and location: 30 hours a week that can be worked flexibly over the week. You will be based at our office in Llanishen, Cardiff and can also work some of your hours from home. However, if you cannot travel to the office, you can request to be a home worker.
Duration of post: The post is currently funded until 31 March 2026 and will continue subject to future funding.
Salary: Actual annual salary of £23,837 rising by annual increments to £26,191 based on 30 hrs per week (full-time equivalent £29,399 rising to £32,303).
The role: This post will work across all our projects and help communicate our views on learning disability policy through researching and producing policy responses, press releases and social media content. You will understand the barriers and challenges faced by people with a learning disability and/or autism and have a working knowledge of the relevant UK and Welsh government policies.
