Looking for participants for a research study concerning political engagement

Hello

We are looking for participants for a research study concerning views and actions concerning the political engagement of people with learning disabilities.

This research is being conducted as part of a PhD through the University of Wolverhampton.

We are interested in people’s personal opinions on topics related to people with learning disabilities voting. This study aims to consider any links within these views. No knowledge about voting or politics is needed to take part.

People can take part if they are aged 18 years or older and have lived in the UK for 12 months or more since 2018.

We would be particularly keen to hear from family carers and formal support staff of people with learning disabilities - if anybody has any suggestions of effective ways to bring this research to the attention of such individuals we would be really interested in hearing it.

Participants will be asked to complete an anonymous online questionnaire. Questions will be about personal political views as well as views and actions concerning the political engagement of people with learning disabilities.

It is not expected that this research should take any longer than 15-20 minutes to complete.
