Making Sense of Covid 19: Sharing Family Experiences of Shielding to Influence Services

Are you shielding because you have an underlying health reason, or are shielding to care for someone else?
Would you like the opportunity to share your experience with health and social care decision makers?

Making Families Count and Sustainable Source working together on a project to gather people’s experiences, creating an exhibition of work exploring what your experience of shielding has been like. The project will run via friendly Zoom sessions where you can work on the project together with other people who have been shielding. You can share your experiences and record your stories in creative ways, sharing and working together.
Why not join us on Wednesday 13 January for a virtual cup of tea and a chat about the project?
We are holding a Welcome session at 11am for people with learning disabilities and a session at 2pm for family carers and people who have been shielding with other health needs.

For anyone who prefers it, you can also share your experiences of shielding individually by sending us, your photos, your artwork, your creative writing, or send short film clips on your i-phone. We will use what you send to curate a gallery of your work and to share your experiences with health and social care decision makers.
