My Life My Choice will no longer engage with the leadership of Southern Health

Dear all,

BBC 1 are running a programme about Southern Health NHS Trust tonight. The programme is called Broken Trust and will be broadcasts at 19:30. Please find time to watch it.

Also, the trustees of My Life My Choice have issued a letter (Leadership Letter.pdf (228.3 KB)) to Tim Smart, the Chair of Southern Health NHS Trust. The letter informs Mr Smart that the MLMC Champions and trustees have withdrawn from any further engagement with the leadership of Southern Health.

The MLMC trustees have asked that you please read and share their letter.

Thank you for showing what every organisation should be doing. I despair for people with learning disabilities or mental health issues and their families who have to use this disgusting service. They have shown clearly they do not care. Thank goodness you have stood up and said we care.
