We have been made aware that NHS England and Barnardo’s are looking for expressions of interest in their NHS Young People’s Health Challenge. This is a new toolkit aimed at 7-14 year olds and helps children to increase their health literacy, creates aspirations to work or volunteer within the NHS and reduce health inequalities. Following piloting they want organisations to get involved.
Although it does not appear to be aimed at children and young people with learning disabilities there is flexibility in adapting the challenges so this may provide an opportunity for an organisation to adapt the resources.
