This job is for a Peer Advocate.
A Peer Advocate is someone who has similar lived experience to the person they are working with or supporting.
This role is about supporting autistic people and people with learning disabilities to feel positive and prepared to move out of secure care setting back into the community.
We are looking for people to work in Canterbury, Purley and Dartford.
The job will also be working remotely.
This is a paid role, You will be paid £35 for each Peer Advocacy Session.
You will be paid £12 per hour for time doing training and induction sessions.
When to apply by:
We will be taking applications until the 30th of October 2022.
When will the job start:
The training and induction for the job will start in November 2022.
Induction is when you get to know the job, the people you will be working with and the
places you will be working.
The training and induction for the job will finish in December 2022. The Peer Advocacy sessions
should begin soon after this.
How long will the work last:
This is a Fixed Term role until August 2023. If the work is successful, we may continue
the work after August 2023.
