Can you explain why this is a qualification in contrast to the attendance at any other workshop?

Thank you for your question.

Yes, this is a nationally recognised qualification which means it is approved by Ofqual and listed on the QCF. To be listed on the QCF the qualification has to meet the regulatory requirements, this means we have to run the qualification through an Awarding Body and have all work internally verified and then externally verified. The qualification has set learning outcomes which we use to assessment all work and a robust quality procedure has to be in place with evidence that is checked yearly.

We do run other training sessions that are not qualifications which are flexible and we are free to deliver what we want but there is no qualification at the end.

I hope this helps? If you want any further information please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you Sarah
