This Beyond Words training offers an insight into why the books were developed and the care taken in the production process. The workshop looks at how to support someone to read the pictures in their own way and at their own pace, telling the story they see in the pictures with the potential to empower everyone.

Through understanding the versatility and scope for using the books you will develop confidence to use specific supportive techniques and have an opportunity to try out some ideas. We will look at reading in groups, pairs and one to one.
