Safeguarding training for learning disabled and vulnerable people

People in Partnership was established as a Registered Charity (1002294)
in 1991 and provides Independent Advocacy and Safeguarding Training for Learning Disabled and vulnerable people living in Birmingham (UK).

Our well established interactive, Power Point training programme includes topics around improving confidence to speak up - keeping safe at home and out and about - being abuse aware - the importance of friendships. The training programme titled “STAY SAFE - JOIN IN” has been developed and produced with input from our Service User Group, professionals and carers and we work alongside statutory authorities, third sector organisations, housing associations, educational centres and many other providers of care and support for adults with a learning disability.

We are delighted to announce that The National Lottery - Reaching Communities have continued to support our work with a further round of funding until 2020.

Please contact us to discuss how we may work together to design/develop the training topics to meet your service users/customers specific needs.
