STAMP - a new app to enable more choice and control

Learning Disability Carers Community are pleased to share the news of a brilliant new innovation for use by social care providers and their clients.

STAMP – a new app that is the brainchild of Grassroots, a service provider who researched how to enable more choice and control for people with learning disabilities. The app has been in development for a number of years and has gained the support of a large development company in Liverpool who have worked with Grassroots to develop their concept and make it a reality. Grassroots would like to offer this service to as many providers as possible to use within their own care and support systems. There is no cost involved for providers and / or other organisations to sign up for and use the app. Surrey Independent Living Council have fully endorsed the app and that they will fully support any service users who wish to use the app.
In their own words:
‘A revolutionary new app set to make its mark on everyone affected by disability. Stamp empowers individuals by giving them access to life-enhancing opportunities and new ways of communicating. Stamp helps local authorities to source, monitor and rate daycare while social workers achieve more for their clients. Stamp gives you a great way to connect with commissioners and customers using real-time ratings and evaluation.’ Please visit the STAMP micro site to find out more and to see how you can become involved.
