Take Part in our DLA to PIP Research Project

Building Bridges Training is doing a research project about the outcomes and impact of the transfer from DLA (Disability Living Allowance) to PIP (Personal Independence Payment) for people with a learning disability. It has taking place from September 2016 to the end of the PIP rollout in 2018. Further details are available on the information sheet, which we can send you.

In the first stage of the research project we are looking for 50 people with a learning disability who live in the Black Country to complete a questionnaire. There is one for people who claim DLA and one for people who claim PIP. This can be completed by themselves, or by friends, family or support workers. The research project has ethical approval from University of Wolverhampton and all participants will be required to complete and easy read consent form. The questionnaires are either available online

PIP Survey - https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/CLJHTHH
DLA Survey - https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/CL36CDM

or we can email or post a paper copy.

We would be very grateful if you could ask people who are supported by your service if they would be willing to be involved in the research project and complete a consent form and return it back to Building Bridges Training. They can then take part in the surveys. We can email these to you if you are able to print them, or we can post hard copies to you.
