The Caldwell Autism Foundation, in partnership with Swiss Cottage School Development and Research Centre, invite you to a day in the company of two of the UK’s leading Intensive Interaction practitioners.

At this one-off event, Phoebe Caldwell, the renowned author, trainer and Intensive Interaction practitioner, and Janet Gurney, founder and chief executive of Us in a Bus, address the themes of autism, Intensive Interaction and sensory experiences.

Phoebe and Janet will share their deep understanding and insights from a combined sixty-year career of supporting individuals with autism. Their presentation will include two Q&A sessions, video footage and a range of case studies.

This event presents a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of autism, Intensive Interaction and the sensory experiences of people who have autism.

The Caldwell Autism Foundation, in partnership with Swiss Cottage School Development and Research Centre, invite you to a day of learning, exploration and reflection on the theme of the sensory experiences of people with autism. Prepare to be engaged, energised and inspired by our three speakers, each of them speaking from their own lived experience of autism.

Donna Williams is a well known and much respected author, artist and autism consultant. She has written a number of books on autism, perhaps the best known of which is Autism: an Inside-Out Approach, a book which changed the way professionals worked with people on the autism spectrum. We are delighted to have Donna presenting at our event and guarantee that you will be informed and inspired in equal measure. Donna will be presenting via Skype from her home in Australia.

Richard Maguire is a published author and autism consultant who runs his own autism training consultancy. Richard works as an autism consultant with children, adults and parents as well as with organisations. He brings a wealth of personal and professional experience to his presentations, which are delivered with his trademark honesty, insight and humour.

Anya Ustaszewski is a composer/sonic artist and musician as well as an experienced autism speaker and trainer. She is a trustee and trainer for the charity ASSERT, a National Autism Society “Top Speaker” and the service user and carer’s representative on the NICE Guideline Development Group for the Management of Autism in Adults.
