Dear parent carers and relevant professionals,
I would like to tell you about our Transition seminar for parent carers and professionals on Tuesday 24 March 2020. The event will be held from 5pm until 8pm at The Vassall Centre in Bristol.
The seminar will address parents’ and young people’s rights to a transition assessment and adult social care under the Care Act 2014.
The event is completely free to parent carers, and there are a small number of tickets available for professionals. Tickets can be booked through our Eventbrite page: https://bit.ly/3aoO2cG. Please book soon to avoid disappointment as spaces are limited.
This is an excellent opportunity for parent carers to learn what to expect and what their rights will be when their young person turns 18; so please do share.
