User involvement

Hi. As an organisation we have made a commitment to far greater involvement from people with learning disabilities, autism or both in everything we do. We are determined that this should include EVERYONE with a learning disability, autism or both. Does anyone have any experiences of including people with more significant disabilities and communication needs in user involvement work? It would be good to establish some good practice. Thanks.

VoiceAbility in Cambridgeshire have a Speak Out Council for user involvement and a specific lead for people with PMLD.
