Webinar: Family carers planning for emergencies

Learning Disability England in partnership with Together Matters are running two workshops on support for family carers to make plans for the future. The first one, focusing on planning using the Thinking Ahead Planning Guides, took place last week and is now available via the LDE website (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFKSUzytXjw )
The next one is this Friday (October 2nd) at 10.00. We will be focusing in this webinar on making a plan for emergencies. It will cover the gathering of essential information, how to begin to develop a network of people who might be able to help out and putting things in place now in case of an emergency situation.

You don’t need to have attended the first session to come to this one.

The webinar will be addressed to family carers of adults with a learning disability and/or autism to introduce ideas to help get started with planning for emergencies. People who support this group of family carers, including older family carers, and those who commission support for family carers are also very welcome.
