Webinar: Learning Disability and Pharmacy

People with learning disabilities are at increased risk of a number of health conditions and may therefore be prescribed multiple medications. Pharmacy teams see many people with learning disabilities and are in a position to provide advice about healthy lifestyles and medications for common health problems.
In this webinar we will be looking at:
- the various roles of pharmacy services
- what we know about the particular problems faced by, and the needs of, people with learning disabilities in relation to medication and pharmacy services
- reasonable adjustments and resources that can be used to best support these people
- examples of good practice
